How to change the status of the quote manually?






In the Quote module, you have numerous quotes. When a customer approves your quote and you finalize the booking through Freightify, the quote status is instantly updated to "won."

However, if the customer accepts the quote but you book outside of Freightify using the quote you created, the status remains active. To address this, Freightify has introduced a new feature that allows you to manually change the quote status.

Follow the steps outline below to know how to  manually changing the status of a quote:


Step 1: Navigate to the Quotes module in the main menu.

Step 2: Select the quote that has been agreed by the customer. You can either change the status of a quote by the Clicking on the 'Active' status dropdown on the top of the quote


 Step 3: Click on the quote that has been agreed by the customer.  Within the Quote Click on the 'Active' status dropdown to change the status of the quote.


Step 4: Select 'Won' from the status dropdown to mark the quote as 'Won'.

Step 5: In the popup, enter your comment for the status change.


Step 6: Click the 'Done' button to save the status change and comment.



Step 7: Acknowledge the notification in the bottom of the page that the quote has been manually converted to won and no shipment is created.


Step 8: Click on the 'View Activity' button in the top right corner to see the quote's activity history.


Step 9: The Activity Monitor popup allows you to review the listed activities, and you can also observe the status of the quote being updated to won.
